WE NEED YOUR HELP!

As dedicated members of the Genesee County community, the Flint Branch of the NAACP continues our mission of ensuring the political, educational, social and economic equality of all persons. This is a joint effort and you can be of great help to our association by volunteering your time and services during our various events and activities held throughout the year.

We know that if people of color and specifically black voters participated in elections at the same rate as white voters have we would have a progressive majority. Black voters are skeptical of the political establishment, unhappy with candidate choices, frustrated with structural and institutional racism, slow job growth, no wage growth, the rising costs of healthcare, the rising cost of college and the rising cost of housing, and disturbed about police violence. We can address many of these issues by electing the right individuals and passing the right legislation.

Our office is always seeking phone banking volunteers willing to make calls. The goal is to help identify potential volunteers who will influence people in their communities to vote in primaries and the national elections in November.

Neighborhood Canvassing

Neighborhood Canvassing

It's time to mobilize our communities and urge people to have a plan to vote early or be ready to vote on Election Day. It is the only way we can achieve meaningful change.
